Tannenbaum/ Schoor Memorial School Competition
The Dr. Paul Tannenbaum/Dr. Robert Schoor Memorial School Competition is open to any resident who is enrolled in a CODA accredited, advanced education program in Periodontics within the geographic region served by the NESP.
The winner of the competition will receive a $1000 cash award and will be given the opportunity to present his or her case report at the Spring 2019 meeting of the NESP.
Those residents who have been enrolled during the 2017-2018 academic year should submit an original case report (photographs and narrative) to the Tannenbaum/Schoor Committee in a pdf. format. The report should involve the treatment of a specific problem and have a specific endpoint. The case report should have a primary periodontal treatment component, but may include implant dentistry. All treatment must have been completed during the resident’s three year program. The narrative can be written any time until the final date for submissions, which is January 1, 2019.
Each resident is eligible to submit one case to the Committee for consideration. Cases should be sent to either Dr. Bruce Davidson ([email protected]) or Dr. Jay Fishbein ([email protected]) . The full committee will meet in January of 2019 to consider the entries. The winner will be announced by February 1, 2019.
